Project Image 05

Overview

RespectMe is Scotland's anti-bullying service, supporting children, young people, parents and educators with guidance on bullying prevention and online safety. The project focused on creating engaging educational resources that communicated important topics in a way that felt approachable, inclusive and easy to understand.

Working within an established brand, I developed a range of visual assets designed to increase engagement while making complex or sensitive topics more accessible for younger audiences.

Discovery

Discovery

Research highlighted the importance of balancing educational content with engaging visual communication. Topics such as online safety, bullying and digital wellbeing can often feel overwhelming or overly serious, particularly for younger audiences. The challenge was creating materials that captured attention, encouraged engagement and communicated information clearly without losing the importance of the message.

Design Approach

I created a series of visual assets that used approachable illustrations, clear information hierarchy and engaging layouts to make educational content more accessible. The designs were developed to support a range of audiences while maintaining consistency with the RespectMe brand. Particular attention was given to readability, accessibility and visual storytelling to help communicate key messages in a clear and engaging way.
